Tubular Hydroforming45,000 PSI system recently supplied to 3-Dimensional Services of Rochester Hills, MIJuly 10, 2001 -- EE Inc. is pleased to welcome a revolutionary new product to our line of custom engineered pressing systems: The Tubular Hydroforming System. The system was supplied to 3-Dimensional Services of Rochester Hills, MI (www.3dimensional.com). They supply quick turn around prototype hydroforming dies as well as short production runs. The hydroforming system is used in conjunction with a 5000 Ton HPM Hydraulic Press. The heart and soul of the system is our patented multi-piston intensifier. This arrangement offers the ability to ramp up to the maximum pressure in less than 1/2 the time of standard single shot intensifiers thus decreasing cycle times. Currently the unit is able to produce a part 3" diameter that is 6' long at 20,000 psi in less than 15 seconds.
